At Banh Mi 47, the star of the show is undeniably their signature banh mi. Each sandwich is served on a house-made baguette, renowned for its thin, fluffy crust that is perfectly balanced with a chewy interior. For those who like an extra kick, jalapeños are available as an optional add-on.
Banh Mi 47 doesn’t stop at sandwiches. The establishment pairs its offerings with delightful sides like the Pate So — a baked puff pastry filled with succulent pork for just US$2.78, and a selection of Miss Vickie's chips for an additional crunch at only US$1.00.
No meal is complete without a proper beverage, and Banh Mi 47 takes coffee seriously. They proudly serve Nguyen Coffee Supply's True Grit, delivering a strong and robust flavor profile. Options range from traditional hot black coffee to sweetened iced varieties, with prices starting from US$1.50.

“ One of my favorite downtown Albany spots. Eaten here dozens of times, always great. I love their Banh mi. The bread is exceptional. Great staff and clean/pleasant space! ”
“ Personalized, friendly, quick customer service & the food is a welcomed addition to Downtown Albany. The ambiance is very welcoming and the hand painted artworks are to be seen not told. A definite “Yes” when Downtown Albany! ”
“ I was born and raised in Vietnam, and i have a standard to my banh mi. I’ve tried many banh mi shops in the U.S but Banh Mi 47 is by far my favorite. The bread is the star here! The crust is thin and fluffy just like a banh mi should be! Probably the most authentic bread i’ve ever had! You cant just slaps some cold cut meat on a bread anh call it banh mi, no! It has to be thin, chewy, fluffy and flavorful. They give a proportional amount of filling to compliment the bread too. Cold cut ham banh mi is my favorite. I still dream about their banh mi sometimes. The service is friendly and the shop is very clean, seems very cozy too. ”
“ I'm so happy we have a Banh Mi sandwich shop in our neighborhood. The bread is light and flakey, loaded with fresh ingredients which makes for delicious sandwiches! We got the BBQ pork and the Lemongrass Chicken, I favored the pork with rich BBQ taste. Not pictured but I got their pork stuffed puffs and they were awesome. I don't know too many places that serve Vietnamese Coffee, it's strong but beautifully blended with the condensed milk for the perfect afternoon pick me up. ”
“ Tasty and well priced. 60 mile bicycle ride on bike path and this was a welcome lunch stop. No4 did the trick. ”
“ A wow for your palate. Inexpensive. Savory and sophisticated flavors delivered in unpretentious package. Healthy portions of protein and root veggies inside this roll. This is my fourth visit, food is consistently superior, meat is juicy, veggies fresh. Worth visiting this neighborhood just for this. ”
